When I was in college, we all grumbled at the thought of having to get up an hour earlier.
One of my friends proposed that, instead of setting the clocks forward an hour in the spring and one hour back in the fall, we should just set our clocks back an hour both in the spring and in the fall.
Of course, over time the hours of daylight will change (like it’ll be broad daylight at midnight), but everything resynchronizes in a dozen years, and we’ll never have to set our clocks forward again!
(To sleep-starved college students, that makes a lot more sense than our so-called Daylight “Saving” Time!)
I have ended up with a system where I lie to myself by setting non-smart device clocks (wall clock and microwave) that one hour forward or backward the day before, so I still get the sleep I need.
How about we split that hour? Half for you half for me, never to talk about it again.

I always feel like pic no.2. Every day.
I can’t even get 5 minutes out of mine

Relatable.
