I was all set to draw this comic for Friday, July 3, but at the last minute I pulled back because it’s just too sad. In case you can’t see what it is, it’s about a firework kid who aspires to be an astronaut and go to the moon. He doesn’t realize that he’s not a rocket. He’s an exploding firework. I think because he’s a kid, it’s too sad. I tried an alternate version where the last panel he’s an angel prancing on the moon, but it was still kind of sad.
