Is Buni ethnic? I went back and counted and up to June 2010, we saw the same number of individual and sentient bears as rabbits – 5 each – but then we see one comic where there are at least 13 zombie bears. From then to the end of the year we see 41 different bears and only 4 non bears. From then on, we’ve seen this ratio maintained, with about 10 bears to every 1 non-bear. Therefore, I’m wondering: is Buni an ethnic minority?
I’d rather see a comic about the discussion or Rabbit Rights in the Buni Congress. They are all for it and about to pass the law, when Buni shows up and accidentally pens in “not” into the bill title or something.
THERE SHOULD BE SOME KIND OF SEATBELT OR SUMTHIN’ ON DAT LIFT. DAT ONE BEAR IS STRAIGHT UP TRIPPIN’ TOO HE NEED TO QUIT STARIN’ AT BUN BUN AND HELP A BUNI UP!
@Teddy
Other animal people were shown in earlier “Buni” comic strips, but it seems more established now that Teddi bear people are more common. It’s presumably an artistic choice, and to make Buni’s world look deceivingly “cuter.” It also kinda helps in making Buni stand out of crowd scenes.
Still sentient wild animals and objects are still shown occasionally to give more variety.
Also, normal feral animal bears seem to exist, but look different from the Teddi bear people. One could just assume they coexist like humans and apes do.
Aww, but he was only getting caught up in the moment.
Pay better attention next time Buni! 😛
Ouch, done that a few times :[
That’s what I would do at a ski lift.
