My experience is if you take a bunch of Germans to breakfast in the US. They’ll gladly cover your tab if you figure out the tip for the meal.
Ya know, 10% of the bill would $26.50 and multiplied by 2 is $53. So that would be the 20% tip. Even if you have trouble with numbers, as long as you could figure out the 10-20% difference of the bill, then the tip is a piece of cake… sort of.
$256 is what happens when you feed a bunch of bears.
I’ve spent $40-ish on myself for a single meal before. Spent the next couple hours regretting that though.
