A lot of people prefer their liquid gold as their coffee instead of oil. Honestly I think if coffee was no longer a thing, more chaos would insure instead of there being no more oil.
@DarknessShallFall, that does beg an interesting question: what would most folks do if faced with a choice like this: you wake up tomorrow and there’s no more (petro-based) oil, but coffee is cheap and plentiful, OR you wake up to a world where it’s the other way around?
Do you think it would cause massive panic, or would most people just shrug and switch to… electrici… TEA?
