The real tragedy here is that they’ll never hook up, even though they’d be completely happy together, because he’ll always be stupidly chasing the shallow hot chick (or the strip would be over). But at least they’ve got tonight!

The “hot chick” isn’t shallow. She’s often portrayed as being kind to him, but is understandable turned off by his obsession with her in spite of her ongoing relationship with the beefcake — who I can’t really recall being portrayed in a particularly negative light either. He’s just bigger, stronger, and more successful. Perhaps not interested in the same things, but not necessarily bad for that.

Yeah, but the only thing he have established is that buni likes Bunigirl, and the girl in the pink dress likes the Big Dude. Just because they are two people who know each other doesn’t mean thay have a damn thing in common. And why does Buni have to like snaggletoothed people, that seems like the last thing he would want as a commonality, as Buni seems to be drawn to Aesthetic (Look at this rainbows, and Unicorns) The same thing could be said for the girl in the pink dress. It seems the only time they see each other are at these parties. Maybe eventually they can help each other find people they like other than bunigirl/Big Dude.
I personally don’t think they have to be together, but they should at least hang out more as friends. But in all honesty, Buni is the only one who needs to move on. BuniGlasses might at least have a chance, or a reason to not move on, bc at least the other guy doesn’t seem to know she exists. For all we know, he could instantly gravitate towards her when he finds out she likes him. Bunigirl not only refuses to like him, but while that’s fine, she rarely apreciates or even acknowledges EVERY SINGLE FRICKIN’ THING he does for her at his expense!!! Amd he’s not being a creep, just a 100% cinnamon roll. And yet, she taks to him so very rarely enough that Buni thinks there’s still hope, to the point that he does EVEN more for her, creating a toxic, manipulative cycle. You could argue that Bunigirl acts nice out of guilt for treating Buni like absolute garbage, a lot of the time people don’t even realize that they’re being manipulative, and the problem is that they need to realize that!!! Bunigirl is an absolute bisch, and Buni needs someone to help him w/ getting over her.
