Buni is back with a slightly new design so I can run the comics bigger. I’m still tweaking the site, but I should complete the redesign soon so bear with me until I can get all the features back up and running. I’ve uploaded all the 2013 and 2012 comics, and plan to upload the rest soon. I also plan to add the rejected sketches and the Traveling Buni Project photos.
Martin Kučar sent me his animated version of this Buni comic. The Easter Bunny is even scarier on screen.
This is my first attempt at animating Buni. Enjoy.
Some of you may have recognized the comic that it’s based on which ran last month. I hope to continue experimenting with animation. But even the crude flip-book style I’m using takes several hours. I was only able to make this because I recently had to spend all day on jury duty and started playing around while I waited in the courthouse.
On a side note, I learned to play the ukulele for this short. Buni seems like a ukulele kind of guy, a slightly out-of-tune ukulele.
